it's called "escape from alaska or something as asinine(will check on that)........ but basically what you've got are a bunch of idiots dropped together into the outdoors in alaska, in very temperate weather: not sure of the season but looks like early fall to me (i.e. nearly summer), as the show goss on, if i can stomach it, or contniue to keep the laughs coming, then i'll be able to tell better if it's gettin warmer or colder. the announcer speaks of FREEZING temperatures like that's a terrible, dangerous, horrific thing. jesus, their low was 34"F one night, posted on screen like it was a death sentence. as an outdoorsman, a rock/mountain climber, and a general guy who like trees and shit, this show is great comedy for me. the first person to leave is the "hunter" ("oh shit you say, anybody but her!...........but despite being in a rather lush environment, surrounded by leafy tundra with mesquite and some trees and such, also rivers, lakes etc, and birds being visually seen by members of the group
EDIT: i just wanted to say that as the show goes on (i'm watching on netflix) the people get less stupid, or rather the stupid people drop out, so it's not so bad
